At Tomoya, the sashimi is undeniably a standout, featuring options like succulent salmon, rich hamachi, and exquisite hon maguro. Each slice showcases the quality of the ingredients, priced reasonably and expertly prepared. An sashimi combo or the delightful tempura combo offers a wonderful way to indulge in various flavors without compromise on quality.
Fans of sushi will find themselves enchanted by rolls such as the spicy tuna and the colorful rainbow roll, both delectable and artfully presented. One of our favorite Japanese restaurants recommended this new spot, so we decided to give it a try. So far, we’re really enjoying it! The fish is incredibly fresh and delicious, the service is excellent, and it’s not too crowded. If you love Japanese food, this place is definitely worth a visit—you won’t be disappointed.

This was my first time visiting Tomoya. I went here for dinner with my dad on a Wednesday evening. The staff were friendly and appropriately attentive. Their specials were some more traditional dishes which was cool to see. I still decided to go with the standard menu and get the sushi combo. All parts of the sushi combo were delicious, as was the evening's dessert special (green tea ice cream with mochi balls and red bean topping). I will definitely be back whenever I'm in the Summerlin area. Highly recommended! ありがとう!

Located on the NE corner of strip mall off Lake Mead Blvd. Near Savers. Our server was Cindy who was very informative and friendly. What we ordered: 1.) Ikura Nigiri $9.95 my friend said the roe was very fresh and burst upon biting in. 2.) Salmon Nigiri $15.00 my friend said it was really good. 3.) Shrimp Tempura Appetizer $14.95 this was crunchy on the inside moist shrimp on the inside. 4.) Unagi Nigiri $7.50 nice unagi flavor and not too heavy sauce on top. 5.) Hamachi Sushi $9.75 the Hamachi was very fresh and pieces were thick. I will be back with friends!

This might be the best Japanese restaurant in Summerlin. I first came across it on Yelp and Google with all the high reviews, so I had to see what it was about. From the outside and even when you step inside, it feels pretty unassuming. There isn’t even a visible sushi bar. But don’t let that fool you, the food here is outstanding, and the space has such a warm, homey vibe to it. The menu is very extensive, with everything from sushi rolls, nigiri, and sashimi to noodles, grilled dishes, and small plates. We started with the agedashi tofu, which was light and delicious, followed by the madai carpaccio, absolutely fantastic. The saba maki was grilled to perfection, and the sushi itself was incredibly fresh. The highlights for me were the otoro and uni, and their Hawaiian roll with spicy tuna topped with more tuna was so good. They even use real snow crab for their California rolls! We also tried the salmon ochazuke. It was very flavorful but the dashi broth was a little too salty, I would have preferred if they used matcha or hojicha, and for dessert, the yuzu sherbet and matcha panna cotta were the perfect way to end the meal. Service was very accommodating and efficient. If you’re in Summerlin or a Vegas local, this spot is definitely worth checking out.

Came here after leaving Savers when I was hungry. The service was great and staff were attentive. The food was so gooooooood. I never had this type of Japanese food before and everything was portions perfectly . I had the grill collar yellow tail combo (wished I would have taken a picture of it) and was incredible. My mom had the kitchen katsu. She liked miso soup and she normally doesn’t like miso. Agedashi tofu was light. The place was reasonably priced, definitely would recommend coming.
